How would you describe yourself? At work, at home?

At home I’m positive, caring, type A, a homebody. When it comes to golf, I’m competitive and resilient.

How did you get where you are? Did you face any difficulties being a woman playing golf?

Growing up in Nebraska (a very sports-centered state), athletics quickly became my passion, social life and favorite activity. My dad and I spent countless evenings out on the practice green, having putting contests growing up. There were many nights they would have to turn off the lights to get us to leave. Growing up, dance, golf, basketball, football and soccer were my favorites. I was the first girl to ever go through my city’s summer football camp. When it came time to start focusing my energy on my top sports, golf and soccer were the winners. Though I pursued soccer in college at the University of Nebraska, I knew competitive golf would be there waiting for me and would truly be a lifelong game. Throughout the countless tournaments, injuries, good rounds, bad rounds, joy and frustration golf has always felt like home. Find more of my story with sports here on my blog: https://bbcoshop.com/about-me.

What’s the one piece of advice you would give your younger you starting out?

You don’t have to be the biggest or strongest to be a competitor, coaches will always notice the hardest workers on the team.

What does Women’s History Month mean to you?

There have been so many incredible women that have guided my path to where I am today. Coaches, mentors, teachers and loved ones that invested time and energy into me. I hope to now give back to the next generation of female athletes.

Inspiring quotation for women during women's history month

Style is a mindset and can communicate who you are and what you want without saying a word. How would you describe your personal style?

Athleisure for life. If the pandemic has taught me one thing, it’s that life is better in sweatpants.

What Inspires Your Outfit Choices The Most?

I like to purchase neutral styles that are made from comfortable, flattering fabrics, that are easy to dress up with accessories or dress down with the right pair of sneakers.
